He was the founding pastor (he's retired now) of <a href="http://www.crcc.org/" rel="nofollow">CRCC</a>, the church where many of us at <a href="http://www.collegeparkchurchplant.com/home/" rel="nofollow">CPCP </a>met. You can learn more about him <a href="http://www.brianmclaren.net/" rel="nofollow">here</a>, and if you are interested in reading a book by him, i would recommend his "<a href="http://www.amazon.com/New-Kind-Christian-Friends-Spiritual/dp/078795599X#reader" rel="nofollow">New Kind of Christian</a>" series.
